Start from the wonderful bridge at the entrance of the village, and enjoy the architecture of the blue mansion, a work of Epiroitic architectural approach. Pass by the old Turkish school, a cultural monument of the area, and visit the Folklore Museum, in a beautiful park, housed in the old school of Greek residents. Visit the Holes of the Virgin Mary, three caves in a row, of which the middle one can be visited with low lighting and an image of the Virgin Mary. It seems that the area of the Cave has been a place for religious purposes since ancient times.

Of course, the adventure and discoveries do not end here, as the location of Mousthene is such that it allows for excursions and activities in the forest, discovery of caves, visits to neighboring villages and of course walks to the beautiful Kavala just 37 kilometers away. The Krinion clay spa is a similar distance away, while the Eleftheri baths and the impressive Ammolofi beach are less than half an hour away! For archeology enthusiasts, Amphipolis is 20 minutes away!
